Our Years of Thermofoil Repair Experience
As Licensed and Bonded General Contractors, we are your one stop shop for Thermofoil Repair. Our experience goes back to 1997 when we were approached by a major Home Builder in San Diego County.
The Home Builder in question was seeking to find a Company that would take care of After-Sales Issues that would sometimes arise with their Installed Cabinetry. We worked with this Builder for many years and it was at this time, we first noticed heat-related problems with Thermofoil cabinetry.
The knowledge that we have gained since 1997 has continued to grow. We have seen so many variations of damage to Thermofoil.
We aim to fix or replace any Thermofoil Cabinet problem you might be experiencing right now!
We urge you to contact us to discuss your Thermofoil cabinets and the best solution for you! Roger is the Owner and Estimator and the person you will no doubt be talking to when you get in touch.
What are Thermofoil Cabinet Doors?
Thermofoil is a plastic material that is thermo-formed (heat-applied) to the profile of an underlying engineered wood core such as medium-density fiberboard (MDF).
Often used for making cabinet doors, this synthetic material is a thin, tight, heat-sealed plastic wrap used to mold over an MDF substrate.
Thermofoil cabinet doors can be a solid color or imitation wood grain. The cabinet boxes that accompany these doors can be finished in various materials such matching thermofoil, coordinating paint, and laminates.
Thermofoil is available in a range of textures and sheen levels, the most popular choice being solid white with a matte sheen.
For a budget kitchen remodel, a thermofoil cabinet door is an easy and economical alternative to white paint. San Diego Thermofoil Cabinet Door installs Thermofoil doors and also REPAIRS Thermofoil Cabinet Doors.
